The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,180.54 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 1143.52 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 3.24 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 25.23 per cent at Rs 15,775.87 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 12,597.22 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 29.78 per cent to Rs 14,100.51 crore from Rs 10,865.07 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 155.91 per cent at Rs 183.87 crore versus (Dec'21 Rs 71.85 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 3.28 per cent to Rs 1,675.36 crore as against Rs 1,732.15 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 22.76 per cent in December quarter.

Interest grew by 4.87 per cent y-o-y to Rs 81.35 crore, while Taxation increased by 4.05 per cent at Rs 405.02 crore (Dec'21 Rs 389.27 crore).
