The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 453.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 412.05 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 10.03 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 26.91 per cent at Rs 2,176.75 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,978.27 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 30.63 per cent to Rs 1,581.54 crore from Rs 2,279.88 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 231.58 per cent at Rs 192.15 crore versus (Jun'19 Rs 57.95 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 14.77 per cent to Rs 595.21 crore as against Rs 698.39 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 16.59 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 12.25 per cent y-o-y to Rs 18.26 crore, while Taxation decreased by 3.01 per cent at Rs 186.83 crore (Jun'19 Rs 192.63 crore).
