Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBl) (Listing and Obligatory Disclosure Requirements) 2015, we wish to inform you that Shri Sanjeev Kaushik, Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on the Board of the The New India Assurance Company Ltd., with immediate effect and until further orders vice Shri Debasish Panda, Special Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance.

In accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act 2015, he is not related to any other Director on the Board of the Company.
