The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 3,961.53 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 2467.08 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 60.58 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 32.95 per cent at Rs 13,487.44 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 10,144.49 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 54.89 per cent to Rs 1,099.73 crore from Rs 709.99 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 41.15 per cent at Rs 6.68 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 11.35 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 17.58 per cent to Rs 12,387.71 crore as against Rs 10,535.62 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 11.56 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 11.16 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7,830.70 crore, while Taxation decreased by 44.34 per cent at Rs 568.85 crore (Sep'18 Rs 1,022.00 crore).
