Silver futures were trading higher during the noon trade in the domestic market on Monday as speculators created fresh positions.

Traders attributed the rise in silver prices at futures trade to fresh positions built up by traders.

At the MCX, silver futures for September 2019 contract is trading at Rs

38565.00 per kg, up by 0.46 per cent, after opening at Rs 38300.00, against a previous close of Rs 38390.00. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 38581.00 (at 14:20 hours).
