( As on 10/05/2019 08:30) Hind.ConstructionCo. posts Q4 net loss of Rs 427.87 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 427.87 crore compared to net profit of Rs 20.09 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 8.34 per cent at Rs 1,322.45 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,442.74 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 0.68 per cent to Rs 1,292.00 crore from Rs 1,283.25 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 63.03 per cent at Rs 25.41 crore versus (Mar'18 Rs 68.73 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 80.91 per cent to Rs 30.45 crore as against Rs 159.49 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 79.19 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 27.45 per cent y-o-y to Rs 209.01 crore, while Taxation decreased by 1739.93 per cent at Rs -146.61 crore (Mar'18 Rs 8.94 crore).
