Gold futures end flat with slightly negative bias in the domestic market on Monday as participants hold their positions amid muted demand of yellow metal from jewellers, industries and retailers, while strong dollar also dented demand for precious metal.

At the MCX, gold futures for December 2018 contract ended at Rs 31013 per 10 grams, down by 0.01 per cent, after opening at Rs 31100 against a previous close of Rs 31016. It touched the intra-day high and low of Rs 31169 and Rs 31100 respectively.
