- Benchmark Index traded with positive bias in the previous week before closing with 1.68% gain at 25710 level. Banking Index outperformed the benchmark index as it closed with 1.95% gain at 57713 level.
- Among the Nifty constituents, NESTLEIND and ASIANPAINTS outperformed the benchmark index as they closed with 7.50% and 7.16% gains while INFY and WIPRO underperformed as they closed with 4.87% and 3.14% cut respectively. Among the Bank Nifty constituents ICICIBANK outperformed the benchmark index as it closed with 4.08% gain while IDFCFIRSTB underperformed as it closed with 3.43% cut.
- Among sectors, NIFTYREALTY index outperformed the benchmark index during the previous week as it is closed with 4.14% gain while NIFTYMEDIA index underperformed as it closed with 2.70% cut. Broader market performed mixed as MIDCAP index closed with 0.35% gain while SMALLCAP index closed with 0.06% cut.
- Volatility index (India VIX) closed with 15.15% gain at 11.63 level.
- FII were net sellers as they sold stocks worth Rs 374Cr while DII were net buyers as they bought stocks worth Rs 16,247Cr during the previous week in the cash segment.
