The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,187.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 2009.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 8.86 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 12.84 per cent at Rs 12,724.00 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 11,276.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.89 per cent to Rs 9,592.00 crore from Rs 8,573.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 25.17 per cent at Rs 113.00 crore versus (Sep'20 Rs 151.00 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 9.17 per cent to Rs 3,132.00 crore as against Rs 2,869.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 3.26 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 10.34 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 17.64 per cent at Rs 767.00 crore (Sep'20 Rs 652.00 crore).
