The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 557.41 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 319.94 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 74.22 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 25.02 per cent at Rs 4,291.88 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,433.02 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.72 per cent to Rs 3,432.53 crore from Rs 2,915.86 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 21.04 per cent at Rs 43.15 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 54.65 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 46.68 per cent to Rs 859.35 crore as against Rs 585.85 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 17.28 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 5.95 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.22 crore, while Taxation increased by 25.24 per cent at Rs 191.48 crore (Mar'20 Rs 152.89 crore).
