The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 307.94 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 380.98 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 19.17 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 14.87 per cent at Rs 1,440.74 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,692.45 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 20.48 per cent to Rs 1,033.62 crore from Rs 1,299.81 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 68.66 per cent at Rs 65.71 crore versus (Sep'19 Rs 38.96 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 3.69 per cent to Rs 407.12 crore as against Rs 392.64 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 21.81 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 26.52 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.29 crore, while Taxation increased by 786.35 per cent at Rs 91.49 crore (Sep'19 Rs -13.33 crore).
