The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 695.72 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 485.80 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 43.21 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.01 per cent at Rs 1,081.96 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,071.14 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 111.52 per cent to Rs -98.32 crore from Rs 853.65 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 5.72 per cent at Rs 597.67 crore versus (Sep'19 Rs 633.92 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 442.68 per cent to Rs 1,180.28 crore as against Rs 217.49 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 437.39 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 14.42 per cent y-o-y to Rs 563.90 crore, while Taxation increased by 240.47 per cent at Rs 362.63 crore (Sep'19 Rs -258.15 crore).
