( As on 15/11/2019 15:10) A2Z Infra Engineer posts Q2 net loss of Rs 36.65 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 36.65 crore compared to net profit of Rs 8.11 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 49.93 per cent at Rs 144.65 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 96.48 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 65.44 per cent to Rs 148.38 crore from Rs 89.69 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 23.35 per cent at Rs 6.34 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 5.14 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 154.93 per cent to Rs -3.73 crore as against Rs 6.79 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 136.65 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 181.40 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.40 crore, while Taxation increased by 5260.61 per cent at Rs 17.69 crore (Sep'18 Rs 0.33 crore).
