The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 135.28 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 108.34 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 24.87 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 30.76 per cent at Rs 1,723.76 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,489.61 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 30.12 per cent to Rs 1,622.26 crore from Rs 2,321.40 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 42.40 per cent at Rs 16.41 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 28.49 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 36.40 per cent to Rs 123.36 crore as against Rs 193.96 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 8.09 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 78.02 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.42 crore, while Taxation decreased by 40.49 per cent at Rs 33.88 crore (Sep'18 Rs 56.93 crore).
