The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 454.86 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 323.34 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 40.68 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 6.23 per cent at Rs 635.59 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 598.33 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 141.86 per cent to Rs 198.47 crore from Rs 82.06 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 18.32 per cent at Rs 45.40 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 38.37 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 15.33 per cent to Rs 437.12 crore as against Rs 516.27 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 20.30 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 21.44 per cent y-o-y to Rs 43.78 crore, while Taxation decreased by 149.96 per cent at Rs -65.91 crore (Sep'18 Rs 131.93 crore).
