The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 64.63 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 70.93 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 8.88 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 11.31 per cent at Rs 1,063.50 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,199.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 15.94 per cent to Rs 865.96 crore from Rs 1,030.14 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 37.89 per cent at Rs 86.89 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 139.90 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 16.92 per cent to Rs 197.54 crore as against Rs 168.96 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 31.80 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 18.15 per cent y-o-y to Rs 89.14 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.51 per cent at Rs 37.61 crore (Sep'18 Rs 37.42 crore).
