The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,103.14 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 562.95 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 95.96 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 12.88 per cent at Rs 9,361.18 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 10,745.34 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 16.84 per cent to Rs 8,200.70 crore from Rs 9,861.62 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 12.52 per cent at Rs 97.52 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 111.48 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 31.32 per cent to Rs 1,160.48 crore as against Rs 883.72 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 50.85 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 322.38 per cent y-o-y to Rs 105.13 crore, while Taxation decreased by 171.91 per cent at Rs -218.36 crore (Sep'18 Rs 303.66 crore).
