( As on 27/10/2019 07:00) Reliance Capital posts Q2 net loss of Rs 2820.00 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 2820.00 crore compared to net profit of Rs 197.00 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 67.51 per cent at Rs 322.00 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 991.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 772.31 per cent to Rs 2,678.00 crore from Rs 307.00 crore in year ago period.

Operating Profit slipped by 444.44 per cent to Rs -2,356.00 crore as against Rs 684.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 1160.10 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 6.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 462.00 crore
