The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 234.61 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 178.60 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 31.36 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose by 0.47 per cent at Rs 2,626.11 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,613.93 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 3.08 per cent to Rs 2,186.29 crore from Rs 2,255.78 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 30.15 per cent at Rs 62.76 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 48.22 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 22.80 per cent to Rs 439.82 crore as against Rs 358.15 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 22.26 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 12.34 per cent y-o-y to Rs 21.57 crore, while Taxation increased by 56.27 per cent at Rs 113.48 crore (Sep'18 Rs 72.62 crore).
