The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 218.36 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 175.89 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 24.15 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 22.43 per cent at Rs 1,576.12 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,287.40 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 22.70 per cent to Rs 1,217.66 crore from Rs 992.35 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 34.91 per cent at Rs 35.40 crore versus (Jun'18 Rs 26.24 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 21.49 per cent to Rs 358.46 crore as against Rs 295.05 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 0.79 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 191.07 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.63 crore, while Taxation increased by 16.21 per cent at Rs 113.40 crore (Jun'18 Rs 97.58 crore).
