The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 560.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 586.97 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 4.55 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 6.06 per cent at Rs 8,613.44 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 9,169.15 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 7.84 per cent to Rs 7,589.53 crore from Rs 8,234.74 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 5.49 per cent at Rs 104.41 crore versus (Jun'18 Rs 98.98 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 9.58 per cent to Rs 1,023.91 crore as against Rs 934.41 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 16.68 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 235.40 per cent y-o-y to Rs 100.52 crore, while Taxation decreased by 11.64 per cent at Rs 277.65 crore (Jun'18 Rs 314.21 crore).
