The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 248.10 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 204.40 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 21.38 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 4.90 per cent at Rs 3,109.60 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,964.40 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 2.67 per cent to Rs 2,844.70 crore from Rs 2,770.70 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 19.22 per cent at Rs 82.50 crore versus (Jun'18 Rs 69.20 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 17.00 per cent to Rs 353.70 crore as against Rs 302.30 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 11.47 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 50.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.20 crore, while Taxation increased by 17.14 per cent at Rs 136.70 crore (Jun'18 Rs 116.70 crore).
