The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 331.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 61.16 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 441.51 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 88.56 per cent at Rs 5,277.44 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,798.87 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 89.11 per cent to Rs 4,740.88 crore from Rs 2,506.90 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 64.60 per cent at Rs 91.74 crore versus (Mar'18 Rs 259.17 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 83.77 per cent to Rs 536.56 crore as against Rs 291.97 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 2.49 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 34.53 per cent y-o-y to Rs 133.74 crore, while Taxation increased by 158.82 per cent at Rs 133.19 crore (Mar'18 Rs 51.46 crore).
