Shares of IIFL Holdings jumped over 3 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company’s arm, IIFL Wealth Management, raised Rs 745.71 crore by selling 5.1 per cent stake.
Following the announcement, stocks of the company gained as much as 3.56 per cent and touched an intra-day high of Rs 724.00 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar trend, shares of the firm were trading 1.41 per cent higher at Rs 709.90 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 35,489.72, up 202.98 points, or 0.58 per cent at 12:24 hours.
