INOX India Ltd - FY26 Annual Report Analysis - Record FY26, Acceleration Ahead

INOX India's FY26 annual report analysis reassures the company’s strong positioning at the intersection of several structural, policy-backed global themes (LNG, hydrogen, semiconductors, space/deep-science) with a fortress balance sheet to fund growth without dilution or leverage. FY 2025-26 was a record year for INOXCVA on revenue, profitability and order backlog, backed by a clean audit opinion and a debt-free balance sheet. Growth is expected to materially accelerate in FY28E as indicated by the company’s recent order wins. The investment case rests on continued execution of a large order backlog into cash-generative revenue, while customer concentration, margin trajectory and export/geopolitical exposure remain the key risks to monitor.
INOX India Ltd. Stock Price Chart
Business momentum remains robust:
INOX India delivered strong FY26 execution, with revenue rising 22% YoY, led by the Industrial Gas (IG) and LNG segments, while maintaining healthy profitability and returns. The IG business continues to benefit from structural demand across industrial gases, semiconductors, hydrogen and aerospace, while LNG is supported by the global clean energy transition. Cryo Scientific is positioned for recovery with a stronger order pipeline.
Order inflows reinforce growth visibility:
The company exited FY26 with a healthy order backlog of Rs 15.1bn, led by 20% growth in the IG segment. More importantly, since April 2026, INOX India has secured an additional Rs 12.5bn of orders , with 89% coming from the IG segment, largely through global engineering consultants. This consultant-led order pipeline underscores the company's growing acceptance in large international projects and provides strong medium-term revenue visibility. While our Q1FY27E book-to-bill estimate stands at 1.5x, we see upside potential ─ scaling up of Indian aerospace firms such as Skyroot Aerospace and Agnikul Cosmos may lead to Inox India winning cryogenic equipment orders from these firms as well, given its proven track record (PTR) with a leading U.S. aerospace company. Furthermore, we also expect ISRO orders to come in by Q3/Q4 of this financial year.
Capacity expansion strengthens long-term positioning:
To capitalize on rising demand, INOX India is setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility at Kandla on ~7 acres of leased land near the port, expected to be commissioned within 9-10 months. The plant will enable production of ultra-large cryogenic tanks (up to 500 tonnes, 8-9m diameter and 60m length) for LNG storage, aerospace and other large-format cryogenic applications. Together with a net cash balance sheet, expanding exports and consultant-led order wins, this significantly enhances the company's long-term growth prospects.
Valuation and Rating:
Strong order inflows, including repeat orders from a leading U.S. aerospace customer, have significantly enhanced revenue visibility, supporting stronger growth from Q2FY27 onward. We raise our FY26-28E revenue/EBITDA/PAT CAGR estimates to 24%/24%/25% (vs. 19-20% earlier) and increase our target multiples to 50.0x P/E (from 40.0x) and 40.0x EV/EBITDA (from 30.0x) on Mar'28E estimates. Accordingly, we revise our TP to Rs 2,297 (from Rs 1,656) and downgrade the stock to Accumulate from Buy on low upside. Key risks: Geopolitical concerns creating logistical challenges, sharp increase in LNG prices, and delay in winning new cryo-scientific and LNG projects.
